A live-action version of Mob Psycho 100 premiered on Netflix earlier this year.
According to The Wrap, Mob Psycho 100 will premiere at 11:30 p.m. during the adult late-night programming block known as Adult Swim.
The premiere of Mob Psycho 100 on Adult Swim is a result of AT&T’s acquisition of Time Warner. Per The Wrap, AT&T gained full control over the media company that owns Crunchyroll back in August. Cartoon Network, which was owned by Time Warner (now known as WarnerMedia), is also now part of AT&T’s portfolio.
This is the latest in a series of announcements stemming from AT&T’s acquisition of WarnerMedia. Earlier today, IGN reported that FilmStruck, the streaming service for classic and arthouse films, will be shutting down in November as part of AT&T’s streamlining strategy.
Mob Psycho 100 follows an eighth grade student who uses his psychic abilities to exorcise evil spirits. A live-action version of the series premiered on Netflix earlier this year.
