Hazard has started the season in stellar form fresh from his fine World Cup campaign with Belgium.

The 27-year-old produced a stunning goal to help Chelsea to their Carabao Cup victory over Liverpool on Wednesday and will no doubt be a key figure when the two sides face off again later today in the Premier League.

Jorginho, the Blues’ £54m summer signing, has been hugely impressed by his new team-mate.

He said: “Eden Hazard is someone who every time he touches the ball you feel he’s going to score or pull of an amazing move.

“He’s different to the rest, he has incredible potential and undoubtedly he’s the best player I’ve played with up until this point.

“He’s somebody who can decide a match on his own, he can create something out of absolutely nothing and that gives his team-mates a lot of confidence to give him the ball and to trust him.”

Like Hazard, Jorginho has also enjoyed an eye-catching start to the campaign following his move from Napoli.

He added: “I’m absolutely loving it, it’s not possible to not enjoy every minute here, it’s a great club with great players and all the backroom staff are working to help us achieve what we can.

“Everyone is fantastic and it’s a magnificent place to work.

“The Premier League is different to all of the other championships, it’s the best in the world because of the speed of the game, the will to win and the ability to fight until the last minute for everything. So I’m really enjoying it, it’s as I thought it would be, a fantastic championship.”

Jorginho and Hazard both started on the bench against Liverpool in midweek but will no doubt start at Stamford Bridge this evening.

Andreas Christensen should too be fit for the Premier League clash after overcoming a stomach bug.

Antonio Rudiger, Pedro and Ruben Loftus-Cheek will all be given late fitness tests ahead of the encounter in west London.

Rudiger (groin), Pedro (shoulder) and Loftus Cheek (shin) must still prove their fitness, but are have been back in training this week.

Provisional squad: Kepa, Caballero, Rudiger, Alonso, Fabregas, Jorginho, Kante, Barkley, Hazard, Pedro, Loftus-Cheek, Moses, Giroud, Zappacosta, Willian, Cahill, Christensen, Azpilicueta, Morata, Luiz, Emerson Palmieri, Ampadu, Hudson-Odoi, Bulka.
