Roma face losing a host of their star players if they fail to qualify for next season’s Champions League.

Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at SPAL leaves the Giallorossi four points behind AC Milan, who currently possess the final qualification spot.

Manolas is available for €36m (£30.8m) due to a release clause in his contract.

According to Calciomercato, the Greece international is the most likely to leave in the event of finishing outside the top four.

And it is claimed Manchester United are pressing to secure his signature.

Roma boss Claudio Ranieri believes a squad overhaul is needed if they fail to finish in the top four.

“If Roma goes to the Champions League there is a program, if you don’t go, you change them,” he said.

The report on Manolas’ future comes amid:

“I’ve told them too. They have to earn what they earn.

“We lost against a team that earns less and has water to the throat. If there is a revolution?

“Without the income of the Champions League something must change.”

Calciomercato claim Arsenal target Cengiz Under is another player that could quit Roma.

Edin Dzeko, Lorenzo Pellegrini and Nicolo Zanolo could also be sold as part of a revamp.

Roma sporting director Monchi has already quit the club amid speculation of a move to Arsenal.

Monchi has also held talks with Sevilla.
