“You must like what you see.”

Catherine, the unique action-adventure/puzzle game from Atlus, is available now on PC for the first time ever, potentially signaling for more Atlus titles to follow.

SEGA made the announcement today. Officially dubbed Catherine Classic, the game comes with enhancements like the option for 4K resolution, an unlocked framerate, customizable keyboard and mouse controls and optional Japanese Voice Over.

The game is now available to purchase through Steam for $20 USD. It appears the game will come with digital deluxe extras for a limited time, including a digital original soundtrack sampler, desktop and mobile wallpapers, and avatars.

Atlus is known for not porting its games over to PC, including numerous Persona titles, Shin Megami Tensei games, and more. It’s possible this shift could allow more Atlus ports to come to PC in the future, but it’s not a guarantee.

In our review of Catherine back in 2011 for PlayStation 3, we called the game “Amazing” saying “This is a game that melds so much together and is so different than anything else on the market that it’s for just about anyone who really loves games.”

Catherine: Full Body, a remake/enhanced port of the original game, is set to be released on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in Japan on February 14, 2019 – Valentine’s Day. Its western release is expected to be at some point later in 2019.

In September 2018, we said Full Body is more than just a remaster, and includes the addition of a new heroine character and a Persona 5 Joker skin set. It’s unclear if Full Body will also make its way to PC in the future.
